HCANYS Emerging Infectious Disease, Novel & High-Risk Infection in the Home & Community Based Services Population – Home Care Agency Planning Series

This is the second in a sequence of five webinars that will address emerging infectious diseases or novel influenza outbreak planning for a home care audience. The focus for this one-hour webinar is on the integration of planning into the home care agency’s overall scope, plans and protocols for infection prevention and control for these and the high risk and prevalent infections in the home and community based services population. The webinar will review plans and procedures to manage novel infectious agents and/or outbreaks in the home care setting with an emphasis on emergency preparedness planning and response for outbreaks, identifying community relationships and communication.
