Hospital Preparedness Program

The Hospital Preparedness Program (HPP) is a cooperative agreement program administered by the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR). HPP is the only source of federal funding for health care system preparedness and it collaborates with state and local health departments to prepare healthcare systems to respond to and recover from emergencies.
