April 14 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Youth-Led Emergency Preparedness Education Day
The event will include comprehensive training on emergency preparedness, featuring:
- Active Violence Emergency Response Training – covering Stop the Bleed, situational awareness, and effective response strategies.
- A collaborative session with NYC Emergency Management (NYCEM) to educate on assembling an emergency to-go bag and planning a basic emergency response at home.
Community Impact
Youth involvement in emergency preparedness not only increases overall community readiness but also ensures faster and more organized responses in emergencies—especially within schools and community centers. By empowering 100 students with these skills, we contribute to a more resilient and prepared community.
