SUMMARY:TRUST Training Informational Session
DESCRIPTION:HANYS and GNYHA are hosting an informational session during which OMH will discuss its upcoming specialized training to address aggressive and other difficult behaviors in Article 28 and Article 31 hospitals across the state. \nTherapeutic Relationships and Universal Safety Training provides a consistent framework for creating a facility-wide therapeutic milieu in which all staff members can be confident their interactions with individuals in care will contribute to their active improvement. TRUST consists of practices that have been shown to enhance patient and staff safety in hospitals. The program provides staff with the competence and skills necessary to prevent and manage crisis situations and incorporates previous OMH training. \nThis webinar is part of HANYS’ Preventing and managing violence in the healthcare setting series.
