The Governance Board provides oversight and guidance to the coalition.

Board directors have responsibility to:

Identify and resolve policy, planning, and emergency response issues that require action from coalition membersc
Direct coalition members on how to support citywide Emergency Support Function (ESF) 8 emergency planning, response, and recovery
Advise NYC ESF-8 leadership on emergency response actions to achieve health-related objectives
Add sub-header that says, “Organization” and add the following language and box/graphic under the sub-header:

The Governance Board is comprised of 12 board director voting positions, including 11 directors from NYCHCC member organizations and one representative from the New York State Department of Health.
